Starting a business is tough. Believe me, it’s taken 22 years for me to take the leap of faith. With a degree in Illustration and Design from Parson School of Design, I set out to become a famous muralist in 2002. I found out quickly that without business acumen it was a tough road ahead. I settled for the corporate grind, working inside, outside and sideways sales jobs for 15 years.
During that time, I went to the Chicago Portfolio School and studied Branding and Advertising. Some rigorous courses in Logo and website design had me prepared to go out on my own.
More recently I’ve participated in the Sarah Mae Ives Social Media Marketing program and have added a full brand management package to my scope of services.
With the arrival of my second son, I’ve decided to take the leap and start this business on my own.
